# Step 3: Start Your First Task

To start your first task, just complete 3 things: choose the right expert, clearly describe your needs, and review the result and continue making adjustments.

This article uses “Generate a commercial still-life image” as an example. When you choose other experts, the process is the same, but the generated result may be a document, Slide, audio summary, or other content.

## 1. Choose an expert

After entering the home page, first choose the expert that most closely matches your task type. For example, when you need to generate an image, choose **Design Expert**; when you need to create a presentation, choose **Slide Creation Expert**.

If you are not sure who to choose, select **SuperMagic** and describe the work you want to complete.

## 2. Describe your needs and send the task

In the input box at the bottom of the page, describe your needs in everyday language. When you are finished, click the Send button in the lower-right corner.

For example, for a commercial still-life image, you could write:

> Please generate a commercial-grade still-life photograph: an iced Americano placed on a black volcanic rock tabletop, paired with half of a caramelized croissant and a vintage brass teaspoon; use a Nordic minimalist style with soft side backlighting by a window, high definition, and a premium, textured look.

You can select a model or connect tools as needed below the input box. If this is your first time using SuperMagic and you are not sure what to choose, keep the default settings.

## 3. Wait for the task to complete

After you send the task, the system will begin processing it and automatically create the corresponding project. You can view the content being processed on the page.

You do not need to send the same task repeatedly while you wait. If the AI needs additional information, answer as prompted on the page.

## 4. Review the result and continue making adjustments

After the task is complete, the generated result will appear in the project. In the conversation area on the right, you can view the task description, AI responses, and attachments.

You can:

- Open the generated result in the project files area.
- Preview or download files in the attachments area on the right.
- Continue entering revision requests in the input box at the bottom.

For example, if you want to adjust the image, you can enter:

> Please change the image to a horizontal 4:3 composition, reduce the empty space on the right, and move the spoon slightly to the left.

If you are not satisfied, you do not need to start over. Simply tell the AI what you want to change, and it will continue processing based on the current result.

## How to write a task description

You do not need to learn complicated prompts. Try to clearly explain these 4 things at once:

- **What to do**: For example, “Generate a main product image.”
- **Who it is for**: For example, “For a Xiaohongshu promotion for a coffee shop.”
- **What result you want**: For example, “Portrait format, bright, and premium-looking.”
- **What requirements you have**: For example, “Keep the brand colors and do not include people.”

If the AI’s first version does not meet your expectations, continue adding requirements. The task process and results will be retained in the current project, making it easy to review or modify them later.
